Online Consultations

1.- Explain your case in as much detail as possible, giving all the information you remember or know even if you consider it is of little importance, and finish by explaining your wishes or needs as clearly as possible. If possible, attach documentation (scanned or transcribed, or send it simultaneously by photocopies to our e-mail address or by post).

2.- 2.- Within the same day or the next working day, the Firm will confirm receipt of the message and will indicate that: either we consider that we have all the necessary elements of judgment to resolve the matter, informing you of the estimated resolution period, or we will ask you for clarifications or additional documents. At the same time, once the difficulty of the consultation has been evaluated, you will be sent an estimate for its acceptance.

3.- 3.- Once the price is accepted and paid in the agreed way, this will imply the firm contracting of the requested legal assistance services and the report will be prepared within a maximum period of one week -except if the consultation is particularly complex-, which will be sent to you together with the invoice to where we are indicated, or we will arrange an interview, at no additional cost, to deliver it, discuss it and resolve any doubts and clarifications that may be required.

4.- In the interview or upon receipt of the opinion, without paying supplements, you may request an extension of the same, provided that this does not involve a new consultation.

5.- We offer the strictest confidentiality if desired, and you can remain anonymous, or obtain our certificate to encrypt the consultation.

6.- The Firm will comply with the tax obligations arising from this transaction (consultations constitute a taxable event for VAT, taxed at the rate in force at the time of accrual, and are subject to withholding in the event that they are made by commercial or professional companies).

7.- The consultation constitutes a lease of professional services to which the general regulations on the matter apply. Once the Firm has accepted the evacuation of a consultation, it is obliged to carry out the matter with the utmost diligence.

8.- The Firm cannot be held responsible for the consequences of not presenting the case correctly or not offering all the existing factual elements, both favorable and unfavorable to the client, or not presenting it with the necessary objectivity.

Neither can it be held responsible for the misuse of the opinion, including the negative consequences of a defective handling of the matter before the Courts, since a good legal advice may end in a bad judicial result if it is not taken care of by a law firm expert in judicial proceedings affecting the matter in question.

9.- A matter or case consists of a problem, an objective to be achieved and legal tools to reach the objective. The Firm offers you to solve the consultation with an Opinion, either electronically or in writing, in the following way:

– First, we make a transcription of your request or case, as it has been presented to us.

– Then, we make a presentation of the case or problem in legal terms, with explanations that allow its easy understanding, both by the client and by third parties.

– Then, we compile and study the legal provisions and jurisprudence applicable to the case that has been presented to us.

– Then, we proceed to the analysis of the possible solutions to the case, in terms of time and money. Among these, the solution chosen or proposed.

– Finally, we make a study, with due explanations, of the steps to be taken by the client to reach the solution to the problem raised.
